Background Information

Paul lecturer’s on photography, at Barking College in Rush Green, to young and mature students.  Drawing on experience gained as a college lecturer, Paul offers private one to one photography tuition or groups of two to three if you want to learn with friends. Paul has successfully delivered photography tuition to a number of different people, from interested individuals to small business’ and county councils.

The tuition is suitable for beginners, enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to improve their photography skills. Paul’s photography tuition is tailored to your requirements, aimed around your interests and current understanding. Paul’s approach is to keep the learning simple and achievable, with an emphasis on learning by doing.

Structure?

Expert advice, feedback and encouragement will be delivered via verbal, written and practical tasks with an emphasis on location work and time spent making images.

Whether you own an old or new camera, film or digital, the basic principles of understanding light, exposure, depth of field and composition and much more can be explored and explained.

All tuition is supported with hand-outs summarising topics covered as well as email support.

Paul is happy to deliver the photography tuition where you feel most comfortable, whether that be at home or on location.

Prices for one to one

Hourly fee: £25

Half Day (4 hour): £90

Full Day (7 hours): £160

Prices for groups of two to three people

Hourly fee: £18

Half Day (4 hours): £70 each

Full Day (7 hours): £120 each
